Flowlink Environmental to Receive R&D Funding from NRC IRAP

We are happy to announce that we are receiving advisory services and funding of up to $113,000 (CDN) from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to support a new research and development project that will help fast-track the development of Flowlink’s proprietary real-time water quality software platform to enable end-to-end management of quality compliance on construction and industrial projects.

Hoy-Scott Watershed Society (HSWS) is a not-for-profit, volunteer run environmental stewardship group that operates a salmon hatchery and conducts a salmon enhancement program in Coquitlam, BC. 

 

In February 2021, HSWS and Flowlink met to discuss a potential collaboration for establishing a water quality monitoring program at Hoy Creek. The main objective of the program would be to collect baseline water quality data in various seasons and help HSWS volunteers keep the salmon in the hatchery and the creek safe.

Custom-integrated Flowlink real-time monitoring systems are now up and running at both of their Vancouver and Delta facilities and our team could not be more excited about that!

Combined with our rigorous Quality Management Program and application-specific Water Monitoring Software, Flowlink systems save precious time for Sunrise team in preparation of regulatory submissions and allow them to focus on what's truly important: production of delicious, healthy and wholesome soy products that so many of us have come to love!

Flowlink to Present at the 2019 ESC Conference

On Nov 6-7 2019, Flowlink Environmental will be attending the ESC conference in Coquitlam hosted by Erosion and Sediment Control Association of BC. Our CEO, Dr. Elena Ranyuk, will be presenting about Stormwater Treatment Risks and How to Manage Them During Planning and Execution Phases.

 

Elena has vast experience in complex storm and ground water treatment and has led numerous high profile water treatment projects in her career. With her presentation, she hopes to empower the audience with a more informed decision-making while facing fewer surprises from a water treatment “black box”. We hope to see you there!

Flowlink Environmental to Receive Support 
from the Government of Canada

Flowlink Environmental is delighted to announce that one of its R&D projects has been approved for advisory and financial support from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).

​

The contribution of up to $110,000 (CDN) from NRC IRAP will help accelerate the research and development of proprietary Flowlink software, including a mobile app and web-based dashboard to view and analyze real-time and historical water quality data, receive useful insights and notifications, and manage incident response.

2019 New Ventures BC Competition Round 2.5

Flowlink is advancing to the Round 2.5 of the 2019 New Ventures BC Competition presented by Innovate BC. The largest and longest-running tech competition in BC fuels tech innovation with $250,000 in cash and prizes to early-stage start-ups.

 

This year competition saw 172 companies entering Round 2 with just 43 moving on. Flowlink is excited to be one of these companies and will pitch on June 14th for a chance to advance to Round 3.  Wish us luck!
